Juhannuskruunu is a traditional decoration element used in the Midsummer poles in Åland and the Finnish archipelago. It is the symbol of the youth, health and bright future.
PROJECT
“Juhannuskruunu”, a print design for Hankyu Department Store (est. 1929) in Osaka, Japan. A winning design for the Nordic Design Competition, judged by Mr. Akira Minagawa (minä perhonen). The design was also printed for a Nordic Walk collection for Uniqlo Japan.
